A Biblical Pattern of Leadership

Our thoughts on leadership are shaped by the New Testament church and grounded in key passages of the Bible such as 1 Timothy 2-3. Leaders are people with demonstrated character with the role of nothing more than a servant (Mark 10:42-45).

Our Leadership

Currently we have three elders and four deacons. The elders provide spiritual oversight of the congregation. The deacons manage the material and financial affairs of the church and assist the elders in various other ministries.

Rob Patterson (full time)

Email: robin.patterson@outlook.com

I was born into a family that didn’t go to church and was if anything hostile to Christianity. And God still broke in. First my parents, my older brother and then me. He changed my mind and my heart and he’s been transforming my life ever since.
I’m married to Jo and we have 3 growing children – Tom, Hannah and Ben. I began pastoring after graduating from SMBC in 2009. And I’ve been a part of the team at Grace since the beginning of 2015.

My desire for Grace is that together we would walk in humility before our glorious God, that we’d grow in genuine affection for each other and that we’d joyfully share our Saviour with the world.
