Mel's Story |
10am Sunday Mornings
Living out of home for the first time in a city you know nothing of is not simple. This is what I quickly discovered when I moved to Newcastle for university. Then I found Grace Evangelical. They have supported me not only physically and mentally, but also spiritually. I know that may sound like corny Christian speak, but it’s true. When I came, the most I knew about God was that Jesus died for my sins, and that he needed to be my King and Saviour. Through the solid teaching and gentle guidance I have learnt a whole heap more and been supported as I try to put that in practice. I certainly don’t get it right all the time, but with trust in God and the help of people from Grace, I’m getting closer. |
